There is plenty to criticize him for and I support cats like Matt Gaetz and Chip Roy holding his feet to the fire, but Kevin McCarthy is a lot better at this than we give him credit for. The latest example is him smacking around an AP reporter. She was acting as stenographer for the White House saying that there's no "evidence" of Joe Biden being a corrupt douche.

You and I know that's bullplop. What with the IRS whistleblower, Hunter's business partner coming clean, and all the other shady business dealings. Nancy Pelosi launched an impeachment inquiry into the former president over a whistleblower overhearing a phone call. The media has been too busy moving goalposts to report on any of it.

The new talking points from the White House are for their media stenographers to claim there is no evidence Joe Biden ever did anything wrong ever. I don't mean talking points in a snarky "corporate journalismers suck at life" way. I mean the White House left ACTUAL talking points as they were leaving their money on Oliver Darcy's nightstand.

The White House intends to urge the top executives of several mainstream news outlets to “ramp up” their scrutiny of House Republicans one day after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy opened an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, according to a draft letter obtained by CNN.

Karen McBecky reporting for the Associated Press had her turn to tell Speaker McCarthy there is no evidence to impeach Joe Biden. McCarthy countered with the evidence for him OPEN AN IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY. That's an important distinction.

Is there video of Joe Biden depositing cash at a Bank of America and telling the teller "make sure they know this is from my shady business dealings?" No. That is the "standard" of evidence the media is requiring since Joey's their boy.

The impeachment inquiry opens up an investigation so that they can INVESTIGATE what they do have. Like three different whistleblower testimonies.

McCarthy says they are going to investigate ALL of it. Kudos to him for playing by the new rules the former Speaker of the House left for him.
