Kid Rock to Confederate Flag Protestors: ‘Kiss My A**’
So this is a thing now. There are people protesting outside the Detroit Historical Museum because of their Kid Rock display, demanding the exhibit's closure because the rocker has used the Confederate Flag as symbolism... in the past. Yeah.
Now, mind you, they aren't protesting Kid Rock using the flag today or in the past few weeks. They are protesting the fact that he has used the flag in the past. Like, ever. Kid Rock's response? Well...
"PLEASE TELL THE PEOPLE PROTESTING THEY CAN KISS MY AS…K ME SOME QUESTIONS."
As for the museum they are protesting? The flag isn't even displayed anywhere...
"The Kid Rock Music Lab is one of 10 permanent exhibitions at the Detroit Historical Museum," the museum said in a statement, WXYZ reports. "Kid Rock’s contribution to Detroit’s music history is significant and warrants his inclusion along with other key figures like Stevie Wonder, Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin and Eminem. There are no displays of the Confederate flag in the Kid Rock Music Lab or anywhere else inside the Detroit Historical Museum."
So this is where we are now. Protesting a museum, that isn't displaying the flag, over their exhibit of a musician who has used the flag in the past, but not recently... and we aren't even sure when the last time was.
Political correctness is exhausting.
Look around you, Ellen! We're at the thresholds of hell!
