California Governor Gavin Newsom dropped a widely panned ad in Florida, inviting people to move to California where they believe in freedom. His main argument was the freedom to indoctrinate children and ignore parental choice in the matter. If that's your thing, maybe California is for you. Though, in Florida, where they believe in law and order, you have the freedom to not get assaulted by homeless men swinging pipes. That's what happened to Olympian Kim Glass.

The silver-medal volleyballer was attacked by a transient American with a metal pipe. She's speaking out to warn others.

“Guys, just be safe out there […] keep your head on a swivel, off your phones. [...] There’s a lot of mentally ill people on these streets right now. And, you shouldn’t have to be fearful when you walk, but it’s true, and so, you guys just be safe.”

Thankfully, Glass is ok. This could have ended up a lot worse. And in California, if it did, there is no guarantee the criminal would face justice. Progressive voters electing progressive elected officials to pass progressive policies have rendered Los Angeles so unsafe that last December the police were warning people not to visit. Their hands were tied from protecting people thanks to those policies.

Many of the issues can be traced back to Soros-backed progressive district attorney George Gascón. Under his policies, repeat offenders get away with running over women and children, child molesters laugh off the sweet deals they are given in the name of equity, and felons are allowed back on the streets where they kill cops.
