KISS Absolutely Destroys Colin Kaepernick in the Most KISS Way Possible
The band KISS is known for being gaudy, over the top and over-indulgent. Never has that been more true than when it came to Colin Kaepernick and the National Anthem.
Other celebrities were subtle in their critique (see Ray Lewis Drops Truth Bomb on Colin Kaepernick. Predictable Liberals Rage… and Cam Newton on Kaepernick: “We’re all the same color.” Twitter Rages…).
Kiss doesn't do subtle.
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool. So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
"Nuts to Kaepernick" in so many words would have been plenty. It would have been much more than you'd expect from any entertainer in 2016. Yes, it's sad that even baseline expectations are considered so lofty nowadays, but that's the reality we live in. Ironically, the androgynous, once-seen-as-degenerates known as KISS were the only ones with the balls to pull this off.
But God bless KISS, they didn't do the bare minimum. Nope, the fans experienced a concert brought to a halt with a Color Guard, a donation, the pledge, and the National Anthem. All things for which the KISS fans were standing in complete unity. You don't think there were some Hillary-voters in that crowd? You don't think there were some lifelong Democrats? Of course there were. Because honoring the flag and our troops hasn't historically been a right/left issue. It's generational.
Also, KISS kicks ass.
We'll have to get Colin back on the show to respond to Paul Stanley (see the video interview with Colin below)...
