Whenever "Allahu Akbar" pops up in a story, it usually doesn't end well. Except this one does, thanks to a few heroic Spanish cops. A man with a knife strolled through the Spanish-Morocco border while singing the song of his towel adorned people. Typical behavior for Muslims hailing from Morocco, perhaps, but rather threatening for the non-towel adorned. All was going chaotically until the police intervened.

A man was detained on Tuesday after attempting to cross the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla while threatening the police with a knife.

The man, believed to be Moroccan, approached the border at Beni Enzar at 7:34 a.m. and shouted "Allahu akbar" before he was brought down by police. One policeman was cut in the hand during the incident.

Interior Minister Juan Ignacio Zoido said on Twitter: "The rapid, coordinated and professional conduct of the police has avoided a serious incident in Beni Enzar. All my support to the hurt officer."

This guy didn't bring any glory to Allah yesterday, but he did get a traffic sign to the face. We'll take it.

Major kudos to the police officers for dropping Mr. Slice with one cutting move. See what I did there? One wonders how swiftly the Muhammad devotee would've been dropped had officers been equipped with actual tools to defend themselves. You know, besides batons, traffic cones and happy thoughts.

Morocco is filled to the brim with Islam and its peaceful stabtacular practitioners. Those who protect Spain's border must be prepared. See the video above.

These policeman didn't respond to extremism with the left's preferred method of hugs and kisses. Maybe they valued living over liberals whining in their general direction.
