Why does it always seem that the vast majority of people are forced to give up something in an effort to make the fringe minority happy?

According to progressives, Halloween parades are bad, but pride parades are good.

An elementary school in Lafayette School District sent out a notice that they will no longer celebrate Halloween in school because it’s not inclusive of all students, according to Libs of TikTok.

“Halloween is a very popular holiday in the United States but about one-third of the U.S. population does not celebrate it. Respecting the decision of children and families at BVE to not celebrate Halloween and being aware of their decisions are essential for everyone to feel that they belong,” the notice from the school reads.

Not all families believe boys can be girls. But obviously, that doesn’t stop them from promoting that.

The school not only canceled Halloween but had decided to dedicate the entire month of October as LBGT month. You know, because of “inclusion,” or whatever.

“LGBT History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. Each day in October, a new LGBT Icon is featured with a video, bio, bibliography, downloadable images, and other resources,” a notice from the school said.

Let me get this straight, for 31 days straight, the district will dedicate an “LGBT Icone” to its students, even though some students don’t celebrate “LGBT?”

You can dress up in drag, but don’t you dare dress up as Spiderman. Because that would be inappropriate.

I think the lack of self-awareness is intentional here. When they say inclusive, what they mean is exclusives to conservatives.

They won’t celebrate Halloween, but it’s perfectly okay to celebrate the sexual preferences of different adults because of inclusion. Does this make sense to anyone?

One of the extremely dumb things here is that the only people I have ever met who don’t celebrate Halloween, also don’t celebrate the LBGT community or its sexual preferences. And I highly doubt the school is trying to pander to those people.

You also can’t get any more exclusive than celebrating LGBT month because that excludes the majority of people.

Another reason why this excuse is so dumb is that holidays are by definition EXCLUSIVE.

Holidays are days dedicated to celebrating a cultural, religious, or national observance. No one celebrates every holiday. That is literally the point of a holiday. People have the freedom to choose what they want to celebrate.

Except when it's LBGT month, you have no choice because you must be “inclusive” or whatever.

But we all know how the saying goes, if the left didn’t have double standards, they would have no standards at all.

Also, when the heck did the alphabet mob get a second month?! I thought June was dedicated to pride.

Do you think it's just a coincidence that “pride” is the deadliest sin of all, the root of all evil, as well as the beginning of sin itself?

Because I don’t.
