While the Internet has been having fun with Joe Biden's latest public f*ck up, one woman who was understandably not amused was Allyson Phillips. She's the mother of Laken Riley, the college student who was murdered by an illegal and whose name Biden screwed up during his State of the Union address.

Here's a brief recap: Joe Biden started a border crisis on his first day as President, overturning all the common-sense illegal immigration reforms put in place by former president Donald Trump. Laken Riley was brutally murdered by undocumented Democrat Jose Antonio Ibarra so bad he disfigured her skull. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene demanded Biden say the name Laken Riley during SOTU. Biden said the name of USC Coach Lincoln Riley instead. Twice. Biden's peers in the Democrat Party are more upset he referred to the illegal who murdered Laken as an "Illegal"

Phillips responded to a comment about it on Facebook: "Biden doesn't even KNOW my child's name -- it's pathetic! If you are going to say her name (even when forced to do so) at least say the right name."

Mrs. Phillips said in a previous interview her family had not heard from Joe Biden, though that might be a blessing. As we've seen with other Americans who were murdered as a direct assault of Biden's incompetent policies, he has a habit of making the grief all about himself.

Biden's flub has also been damaging politically. The SOTU address was supposed to be his campaign relaunch to show Democrats he isn't the senile old coot everyone thinks he is. And while the media did their best to cheerlead for him on Friday, the only thing that has broken into the mainstream is the "Lincoln Riley" flub. It manages to shine a light on Biden's two biggest liabilities in 2024: illegal immigration (the one issue voters say they are concerned about the most) and his brain being 69% tapioca pudding.

Biden responded to the gaffe when asked by a reporter. No, not the gaffe of getting Laken Riley's name wrong. The gaffe of calling the illegal who murdered Laken an "illegal," which is the only gaffe the media care about. Biden isn't sure if he regrets it or not, but technically, Ibarra wasn't supposed to be here, so...

I'm sure Biden will get a polling bump from his speech. Then a couple of weeks later of Biden being allowed to be Biden in public, that bump will disappear like a party at Hunter Biden's house.
