HILARIOUS: SNL Brilliantly Mocks Hillary and Bernie at #DemDebate
Even funnier than Kate McKinnon's impersonation of Hillary Clinton on SNL, which is hysterical, is when they have Larry David impersonate Bernie Sanders (see Larry David Delivers HILARIOUS Bernie Sanders Impression on SNL).
Last night, they both debated each other. It was all we've ever wanted.
Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton joined David’s Bernie Sanders to recreate Thursday’s debate at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The pair sparred over the tone of the campaign getting “meaner,” though Clinton responded, “I don't have a mean bone in my body, just don't ask any of those close to me.”
Real life’s version of the debate was filled with feisty exchanges, though Saturday night’s sketch devolved to slapping between the two candidates and a noogie from the former Secretary of State.
Questions from the audience revealed a collection of fictional New Yorkers, including Rachel Green of “Friends” and Dreyfus’ most famous character, Elaine Benes from “Seinfeld.”
If only these were the two who really were running for President.
Firstly, McKinnon's impersonation of Hillary? Pretty freaking good. And the cackling laughter to "buy time" until she can come up with an adequate lie answer to Wolf's question?
And while our own Steven Crowder has his take on Bernie Sanders (Watch: Donald Trump vs. Bernie Sanders Town Hall Parody...) we must give due credit to Larry David for his own brilliant impersonation of Crazy Bernie Sanders.
Here's what I found interesting, though. SNL was taking potshots at both candidates, yes. But are you noticing a trend here? The media is increasingly asking Bernie Sanders to explain how he's going to "break up the banks," or how he's going to provide free tuition to entitled sucktard students. Though they mock Hillary for her mannerisms, or how she's a fake, they don't seem to be calling her policy proposals into question. In fact it seems to me the media is doing everything they can to make Bernie look bad while bolstering their gal pal Hillary.
While all of us are focusing on Trump vs. Cruz (GET OUT OF THE RACE, KASICH), there's certainly plenty of real discord on the democrat side of the dumpster fire.
