In the wake of the Orlando terror attack, while leftists are busy blaming Christians, the NRA and responsible gun owners (pretty much everyone except the Islamic terrorist who allegedly said he did it all for ISIS) responsible gun owners are helping members of the LGBT get licensed and learn how to use firearms. #LoveIsGuns

Don't you hate it when facts get in the way of an aggressive leftist narrative?

In Florida, the only person that is allowed to carry a gun in a bar is a security guard. In Nevada, the general bar staff is allowed to have a gun behind the bar.

"We're at risk,” said Derek Washington, state lead of Get Equal Nevada. “We're under attack. We're not just under attack from Muslim terrorists. We're under attack from Christian terrorists. We are under attack from drunk frat boys. We're always under attack."

Washington is calling on his LGBT peers to get a concealed carry weapons permit. It’s a process that starts with a required training course.

"I want those courses packed,” Washington said. “After Orlando, it is our responsibility to care of us. We can't depend on anyone else."

Thanks to a local organization called Out For Liberty, defense is not out of reach. The group is offering the multi-week course free of charge to any LGBT nightlife worker in Las Vegas.

Take the "we're under attack from Christian terrorists" part out of the equation because a rational person can see the difference between a Christian saying "I don't think I'm the right caterer for your wedding" and Muslims saying "stand still while I push you off this roof."

We're witnessing an act of solidarity here. Which, if you're part of the gun community, isn't hard to imagine. Gun-owners have a love of firearms and want to share that love with others. Regardless of sexual orientation.

Also, Islam sucks. When in doubt, shoot the mofos back. Allahu Akbar, bitches.

So while the media is desperately trying to shove the hyperactive GUNZ ARE BAD meme down everyone's throat, including the LGBT community, evidence like what's happening here in Las Vegas, and in Colorado with a recent gun sales surge in the LGBT community, paints a rather different spread.

When threatened, people do not turn to gun free zones. When threatened, people do not turn to the government. When threatened, people do not want to repeal the Second Amendment. When threatened, even the super gays with their rainbow underpants (boxes, briefs, or other unmentionables), lock and load.

As they freaking should (read Dear LGBT Community: Get Yourselves Some Guns. Now.). As they have a RIGHT to do. No one will defend your life or property better than you. This isn't brain surgery.

What's happening across the country, this new unity between the gay and straight communities over a necessity and love of firearms, will be swept under the media's prayer rug as they look to mecca. Because do not doubt that while THIS story made local news, many more just like it will not. The left will panic over it, make no mistake. While the left is pushing aggressively for gun control, one of their favorite pet victims groups is trying to decide between the Glock 19 and the Ruger LCR. Decisions, decisions.
