PUSHBACK: Petition to Save 'Last Man Standing' Exceeds 115k Signatures...
In case you hadn't heard, the butt-munches over at ABC cancelled Tim Allen's Last Man Standing. The reason for tossing the hit show in the garbage is unclear, though we have a couple of theories. On the bright side, fans of Buzz Lightyear's hit sitcom aren't taking this sucker punch lying down. A petition was started to save the show, and the signatures have already passed the six-figure mark...
ABC today unveiled its 2017-18 schedule. But talk about the liberal network, owned by Disney, is still revolving around the backlash against the controversial cancellation of their hit show Last Man Standing.Tim Allen himself broke his silence tweeting: “Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years.
#lastmanstanding. ‘ A petition on change.org protesting the decision and calling for a boycott of ABC has generated over 115,000 supporters.The petition has certainly struck a nerve among viewers of Last Man Standing. It was ABC’s second-most-watched comedy this past season, with 8.1 million viewers, only behind Modern Family.
Well ABC, the show couldn't have been doing all that rough to provoke this big of a reaction...
Just to be clear, ABC has every right to cancel whatever show they want, for whatever reason. Free market, bruh. But, we also reserve the right to call them leftist asshats for doing so when there's no reason beyond politics.

Last Man Standing was one of the only shows on TV that didn't toe the leftist party line (see ‘Last Man Standing’ Brutally Mocks College Liberals and ‘Last Man Standing’ Digs In With Latest, Thorough Slam on Leftists). With their solid ratings and obviously dedicated fanbase, Last Man Standing's only fault was being too conservative for their network's hyper-leftist sensibilities.
There could be a silver lining on the horizon, though. Shows like Nashville were canceled, before fan demand got them a new network and new seasons. So, if more Mike Baxter is what you folks want, this petition is certainly the way to do it.
Don't expect this to be the last time something like this happens. Hollywood leftists are hellbent on scrubbing films and TV shows that don't jibe with their politically-correct requirements. They can't have cis-hetero-normative programming that sends their viewers running for the nearest safe space. Their quest for trigger-free TV will continue.
