Three parents filed a lawsuit in Pittsburgh claiming their kids' first-grade teacher "violated district policy, state law, and the Constitution by teaching children about gender dysphoria and transgender transitioning."

Fox News reports the parents are looking for a court order to "stop the gender-related instruction" or at least "provide parents the option to opt their children out of it." Named in the lawsuit Mount Lebanon School District, the superintendent and school board, and first-grade teacher Megan Williams.

Alleged in the lawsuit is that Williams, who claims her child is trans or decided that her child is trans, used that as an excuse to push her "unique perspectives and views" on a captive audience of six- and seven-year-old children. Williams told the captive audience of kids that her child dressed in an Elsa dress for Halloween and that when parents say their boy is a boy or their girl is a girl, parents are sometimes wrong. Also, doctors make mistakes when they say a boy is a boy or a girl is a girl.

The school district issued a statement saying that they "allegations that are untrue or based on partial truths that mischaracterize events for sensational effect." The district looks forward to the opportunity to set the record straight.

The battle over parental rights in education has grown into a contentious issue in 2022. Parents feel their grade school children should be taught things like math and science and not have teachers pushing the sexual, gender-based, and political motivated ideology on students as young six-years-old. Teachers have come out and said they don't care what parents think and are going to push their sexual, gender-based, and politically motivated ideology on kids anyway. If you disagree, you are a -phobe of some kind.
