WH Press Secretary explains to a DOGE critical press there's only one number that matters to Trump: 77%
The left has got some nerve by implying that government efficiency and transparency are somehow evil but that is because they are not in this for the American people.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said it should be no surprise that the president is doing exactly what he promised. Additionally, the fact that the people voted for this proves that they are on the wrong side of history.

So, while the left fights to embolden the bureaucracy, the current administration is doing what it believes is in the best interest of the American people. This is also why these same individuals have a problem with appointing people like Dan Bongino, as the bureaucracy should most definitely be "very, very nervous."

It's no coincidence that those who are most horrified by this are also Democrats.
So while the last administration did everything in its power to expand government, the American people voted against all of that, as they see how there is a correlation between more bureaucracy and more corruption. The fact that taxpayers had no transparency about where their money was going is a scandal that should have never been tolerated, which is exactly why the left is so horrified at what is to come.
