Congressman Lee Zeldin is running for Governor of New York. On a day that Gov. Kathy Hochul sent out an incendiary email encouraging supporters to disrupt Zeldin campaign events, a man lept on stage and attempted to stab the congressman. He failed, which is why we can laugh about it now. Just as can we laugh at the site of the attacker's pants falling down as he gets arrested crying.

Now, where was Rep. Zeldin? Oh, yeah...

"In this high-stakes moment for our country and our state, we have an opportunity. [...] This is a unity rally as we start traveling this entire state meeting New Yorkers of all stripes, of all parties, in all counties and regions of New York."

To recap, early Thursday, Gov. Kathy Hochul sent her followers to disrupt Zeldin's campaign events. She used heated rhetoric, accusing Zeldin of “dangerous lies" and "misinformation." Both are common terms Democrats use to describe opposing viewpoints with which they disagree.

As is the phrase the "Big Lie, a reference to Hitler's BFF Joseph Goebbels, the head Nazi propagandist in charge. Democrats, such as Joe Biden, accuse opponents of the "Big Lie" on the regular. Most recently, while discussing challenges to the 2020 Election. Hochul referred to Zeldin, who is Jewish, as "Big Lie" Lee.

Later that day, someone showed up at a Lee Zeldin campaign rally that was on the list Hochul sent out. That man lept up on stage and attempted to stab the Congressman.

That man was arrested, charged with second-degree attempted assault, and is already out on bail. Because this is New York and the policies of Hochul's Democratic Party puts criminals first. Zeldin is running for governor to change that.

And the dude lost his pants. I mention that again because it's hilarious.
