While most people can be friendly with political enemies, leftists seem unable to divorce their politics from their personal life. They don't want to be friends with non-leftists. Or workplace proximity associates. Some won't even sell a Trump supporter their house. Not joking:

A Sacramento area home is up for sale, but it comes with a catch.

The homeowner has a political preference in mind for the next owner of her house, which has been in her family for decades.

“She entertained people from all walks of life,” said the homeowner who asked we not use her name for fear of retaliation.

“I told her [the realtor] that I didn’t want her to sell it to a Trump supporter,” said the woman.

She says the point is more important than the money.

“When you’re talking about principles, morals, and ethics, it’s very very deep,” said the homeowner.

This is a group who supports butchering tiny tots out of convenience and beating the bejeezus out of anyone who disagrees with them. That's not to say Trump has a halo perched above his otherworldly coif. The difference is Trumpers aren't the ones claiming to have the moral high ground here.

I'm not sure Trump supporters would want her house in the first place. Most right-wingers aren't exactly lining up to bask in the ambiance of incense, kale, and cat piss that pervades most leftist dwellings.

It's nice to know after eight or more years of extreme liberals suing bakers and florists for not wanting to cater or serve a gay wedding, based on their personal beliefs, that refusing business to someone, based on belief, is back in style. This woman has no problem not doing business with someone based on her own moral code. If she didn’t want to sell to an LGBT couple, she’d be sued out of existence. But because she's on the left, and she doesn't want to sell to people on the right, everything is hunky dory.

Double standards. Aren't they lovely?
