You know, we had given Lena Dunham some credit for her weight loss and taking control of her health. We even defended her against body shaming leftists. We were like, "Wow, personal responsibility! She's not blaming other people, good for her!"

This is the thanks we get. The back story, as per Heat Street, is that Us Weekly ran an article on diet tips that included skinny Lena Dunham. Dunham was upset by this, so she took to Instagram to give her own diet tips...

Dunham shed a significant amount of weight in a short space of time recently. The Sun reported that the actress is using the same personal trainer as fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

"I have no tips I give no tips I don't want to be on this cover because it's dramatically opposed to anything I've fought my whole career," Dunham wrote. "It's not a compliment to me because it's not an achievement thanks," adding that her weight loss had to do with a "pre-existing condition."

But the Hillary Clinton aficionado, then offered bizarre tips on what actually caused her to lose weight -- some of which have to do with politics.

Basically, she lost weight because of Donald Trump, sexism, and how hard it is for her struggling against the system. Typical little leftist things.

So, in short? She didn't want to get healthy but mean society, with all its mean anti-womanness, made her. Now she's taking a virtual stand for women everywhere - in leftist, feminist fashion.
