Lena Dunham Launches Sexist Attack on White Women
Lena Dunham and The View. An attractive combination as there's ever been. They go together like sardines and rotten bobcat sphincter. Allow me to set the stage here. The issue is Dunham feeling she needs to "femsplain" to white women how much they messed up by voting for Donald Trump. She wants to let you know that she's better than you.
Yes, her logic is as sounds as you would assume...
I think it’s really important to remember that it is an incredible problem that 53% of women in this country — 53% of white women in this country voted for Donald Trump which means that they’re not only voting against the interests of their sisters, of women who may not look like them, who they may not understand but whose rights are just as important, but also remember that they are in that case voting against their own best interest. To me a part of feminism — it’s almost like being a parent to a teenager where they’re so mad at you, they think you’re such a piece of crap and you’re like, I know you hate me right now but the reason I’m doing this is because I love you and I want us all to be safe.
Right. So, let's focus on the "voting against their best interests" part.
- All because you both have similar body parts, that doesn't mean they have to support abortion (see Planned Parenthood Workers Admit to INCENTIVES Pushing Abortion) or buy in to the unequal pay lie (see Bud Light Runs Shameless ‘Equal Pay’ Commercial, And it’s Cringeworthy ).
- When your entire campaign is how much leftists hate white men, you're talking about white women's fathers, sons, and husbands. It's not in white women's best interest to vote for people who hate their family.
Finally, and possibly most importantly...
When she talks about white women voting against "who may not look like them but whose rights are just as important," she's accusing white women of being racist simply for voting for Donald Trump. Let's just be clear here. What rights afforded to black women, pre-Donald Trump, will be removed as a result of this administration? This accusation is thrown around so frequently, yet virtually never substantiated. How will "women of color" be specifically targeted by a Donald Trump administration? The truth is, they won't. Most likely, they'll enjoy more economic opportunities along with everybody else. I point this out simply because most people don't. People like Lena Dunham live in a bubble where nobody even asks "...huh?" Here's the point; when you hear BS like this, immediately question the premise. Demand it be substantiated. Because nobody at "The View" even considered it. And that's just sad.
But really Lena, you keep doing you. It makes things easy for people like us.
