Let's be honest. Donald Trump didn't have a great night. Rather than lie to themselves, people should be pressuring Trump to better prepare for the next two debates. He can still be in it! This was only the first round of a three round fight. With that in mind, there's a lot of hand-wringing this morning about Lester Holt's pro-Hillary Clinton bias. Mostly because it was shameless. So yes, Trump could've done better. But let's not sweep Lester Holt's shameless shilling under the rug.

Without further ado, let's jump right in:

Lester Holt has been lambasted on social media with accusations he favored Hillary Clinton following Monday night's presidential debates.

Some allegations against the NBC moderator included that he frequently interrupted Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and went easy on Clinton.

Even Trump himself implied that he was disappointed the topics of Clinton's foundation, emails and Benghazi scandal were never raised.

ONE: Lester Holt Avoids Hillary's Email Scandal

This is a presidential debate. Yes, yes, these are our candidates. Can't cry about it now, people. But one thing that stuck out like a bad pantsuit? The lack of any kind of questions about Hillary's illegal email scandal. I mean none at all. Regardless of Hillary's gender, her illness, or poor fashion sense, her email scandal? Lester didn't bring it up at all. A glaring omission that even Trump noticed.

TWO: Lester Holt asks Trump about taxes. Ignores Hillary's "questionable" Clinton Charitable Foundation.

Reminder, both of these candidates should be vetted equally. Right? LOL, not for the Democrat! So while Lester had zero qualms asking Trump for his tax history, he didnt' bother to ask Madam Cankles about her questionable Clinton Foundation. Which has taken money from countries which also sponsor terrorism. And abuse human rights. ALLEGEDLY. Which do you think is more important in a president? If you answered BOTH, you're not wrong. But Lester only asked about Trump's taxes, not Hillary's donations. Donations from COUNTRIES THAT SPONSOR TERRORISM. Sorry for the all caps, but seriously? Yes, both are important points, but one weighs more heavily than other, right?

THREE: Lester Holt Interrupts the Candidates, but...

In a feeble attempt to claim sexism, Vox points out that Holt interrupted Trump over ten times more than he did Hillary. Ten times. That's hardly anything worth mentioning. So why is it on this list? It's more of an honorable mention point, isn't it? No. Because this is the liberal media's attempt to show Holt was "tough" on Hillary. Even though no, not really. Because see next point...

FOUR: Lester Holt Fact Checks Trump. Doesn't Fact Check Hillary.

Fact checked, or "fact checked" Trump five times. Hillary? None. And that's all I'm going to note on this point.

FIVE: Benghazi? What Benghazi? 

I debated listing this first. Four people died, Hillary lied. But what difference, at this point, does it make? Apparently nothing to Lester Holt. Benghazi is a defining moment in Hillary's career. It also dealt directly with her foreign policy "skills." Yes, it should've been discussed at the debate. It's key to a leadership role. It's a question she should be asked repeatedly. This is not to say Donald Trump doesn't need to be better prepared for the next two debates. But let's not pretend that Lester Holt wasn't showing favorites.
