Here's an interesting study released by the Media Research Center. You know all those incidents of terrorism that were conducted by terrorists this summer? (see Report Releases New Details on Orlando Shooter's Motive and Horrific Terrorist Attack in Nice, France. Cowardly Media calls it ‘Truck Attack’…) Yeah, we can all agree that those were clearly terrorism. Right?

Listening to liberal media, there's no way to be sure. Because by almost 6 to 1, mainstream news networks went out of their way to call terrorists anything other than "terrorist." Bonus points if they can somehow work the word "gun" or "shoot" into it...

This June was marked by a wave of radical Islamic terrorist attacks – in Turkey, in Orlando, in a Paris suburb, in Israel, and elsewhere around the world. As the bodies piled up and nations were gripped with grief and rage, broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) did their best to call the attackers anything other than terrorists.

But though perpetrators often claimed allegiance to ISIS and ISIS celebrated the slaughter, the ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows chose to call the terrorists “gunmen,” “shooters,” “attackers,” and basically any word in the thesaurus other than “terrorist,” by a ratio of 5.8 to 1.

Personally speaking, I think "truck attack" should go down as a hall of famer. It's perfectly ambiguous. Was a truck the instigator or the victim? There's no way to know...

According to the study's further statistics, the networks referred to terrorists as anything but terrorists 329 times out of 368. Those numbers are pretty significant. Almost as significant as the Allah-ordained suicide vests on those "attackers."

Compare this to when the White House censored a video of the French President saying "Islamist terrorism." It would seem that to the left, the idea of calling a spade a suicide vested spade is taboo. Because political correctness. But making character attacks on anyone who disagrees with you? Whole different ballpark. A ballpark where anybody who disagrees with them is a "bigot."

Look, it's 2016. Information travels fast. You know, what with the world wide web and all. These vague terms? They're not ambiguous for lack of details... Moreso a lack of authenticity. Sure, it's not all too surprising that liberal media is as authentic as Hillary's full head of "hair." But having the statistics to back up that point is important. Because facts matter...
