Mike Rowe Schools Moronic Liberal Who Doesn't Grasp Lincoln / Trump Analogy...
Funny, but weren't we just talking about this yesterday? Liberals don't seem to get that when you say something silly to Mike Rowe, he's just going to put you on blast on Facebook (see Leftist Criticizes Gun Show, Insults Attendees. Mike Rowe Fires Back and Mike Rowe Destroys ‘Raw Story’ Trolls in the Best Way Possible). In this post there were a few people, but let's focus on "Scott."
Love you Mike, but you just compared Trump to Lincoln. Shameful, Trump is the exact opposite morally, ethically. It's scary this man could do anything and people are still blindly following. We have not learned from Hitler?
"Scott" and others are talking about this story Mike Rowe told about Abraham Lincoln. Apparently, "Scott" and others don't understand how analogies work. We'll let Mike explain...
The facts are not in question - In 1865 we were divided over taxes, race relations, state’s rights, and most of all – the border. The winning candidate was a Republican whom half the country despised - a Republican who believed that he was going to lose. A Republican who treated the press with contempt, vowed to restore the border, and transform the Supreme Court. A Republican who many believed was on “the wrong side of history.” A man thought by many to be a “tyrant.”Now – did I want you to think that I was talking about Trump? Did I intend for you to assume that I was writing about events in the present day? Of course! That’s the point of stories like these. To play with your existing beliefs and biases. To juxtapose historical ironies and coincidences. To use present day assumptions to deliberately confuse the listener, before revealing the reality of a thing, or the true identity of the subject.
And here comes the mic drop...
The “certainty” that Jason feels about Trump being the "next Hitler" – is no different than the certainty felt by millions of people in 1865, that Abraham Lincoln was the devil incarnate.
Thanks for playing "Scott." Game over. Better luck next time.
Of course, Mike Rowe was much friendlier to Scott than I would have been. But he's a gentleman, that Mr. Rowe. I probably would've told Scott to stop taking life so seriously and literally, then advise him to realign his chakra by pulling as many sticks out of his rectum as he could. Maybe seek a doctor for help. Forceps, Scott.
Look, all Rowe was trying to say, as he's already said, was open some closed minds. But maybe those minds are closed due to clenching from so much pain deriving from the anal area, caused by aforementioned tree branches.
See, Rowe would never write such insults. Gentleman. Pure class. Thankfully I'm not bound by such decorum.
So leftists, if you're going to attempt to outwit Rowe, don't. He's got a much better grasp on reality, vocabulary, and actually has a sense of humor. Secrets to happiness, my babies.
Speaking of happiness, watch this.
