Zoe Saldana was asked about Donald Trump. Instead of making an ineffective video attacking him (cue dramatic Vox music), she decided to be rational about the election.

"We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies. We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong... and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises."

"I just say he's now elected and we as a country need to support whoever's the president because that's what the country's based on. However that happened, he's there, and let's go."

Much like Nicole Kidman, Salanda is almost too rational. But it gets worse...

"I'm learning from (Trump's victory) with a lot of humility. If we have people continue to be strong and educate ourselves and stand by equal rights and treat everyone with respect, we won't go back to those times."

Wait... learning? Self...reflection? Realizing that the election doesn't signal the end of the world, and that the Republican President ISN'T going to send us back to the stone age? That's crazy talk. So crazy, that the same people upset because she didn't speak in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" trailer (because sexism or something)suddenly want her to shut up now. Here comes the CTRL+ALT+OUTRAGE...

Don't get it twisted. No one here at LwC thinks the actress is going to be signing up for the Mug Club anytime soon. She probably disagrees with us on 9 out of 10 issues. And that's ok. It's how America works. But we're also ok with people who don't drink the full glass of Kool-aid. Also, people who aren't walking bags of actual scum.

All we're talking about here is an actress who supports the same leftist causes every other actresses supports, who simply believes "the election's over, let's move on and regroup?" Leftists can't have that.
