State libraries in Montana, Missouri, and Texas and the local library in Midland, Texas, announced they’re leaving the (American Library Association) ALA, with at least nine other states — Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota and Wyoming — demanding similar action.

This comes after the ALA elected the self-described "Marxist lesbian" to lead the organization in April 2022, who has also expressed she wants to re-center children's libraries on "notions of queerness" and prevent what she described as "angry, White mob parents" from trying to block the efforts.

Someone should apologize to the ALA on behalf of parents who are getting in the way of its revolution. Because that is exactly what libraries are for.

But what else do you expect from a Marxist? You know their only hope for a revolution is to take control of our nation's children and destroy the family unit.

Drabiniski ran for the position on an “openly socialist” platform, and in the lead up to the election posted many tweets and gave interviews where she described herself as being on “labor’s side” and said her tenure “will be socialist in tone.”

What does being on "labor’s side" even mean?

"I just cannot believe that a Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world is the president-elect of @ALALibrary," Drabinski wrote in the post, which has since been deleted. "I am so excited for what we will do together. Solidarity! And my mom is SO PROUD. I love you mom."

In a letter to the ALA, the Montana State Library Commission stated that their decision to withdraw was made because their office "forbids association with an organization led by a Marxist," the Montana Free Press reported.

The ALA has also been exerting its influence against efforts to ban sexually explicit content from libraries and to recommend dozens of LGBT books for minors. Of course, states are cutting ties with the ALA. Why would we fund an entity that proudly promotes the indoctrination of our nation's children?
