Conservatives are singing the praises of Lindsey Graham. Lindsey Graham! Justifiable, after he went Stone Cold Steve Austin on the Democrats. I was half expecting him to jump on the table and shotgun beers.

Graham followed up with Sean Hannity on Thursday night. Where he named names.

Here's what I think is happening with Lindsey Graham, because we've seen hints of it (see Lindsey Graham to Media/Trump Haters: “I Don’t Give a S***!” and OUCH: Jimmy Kimmel Gets Raked Over the Coals by Lindsey Graham). Graham is an old-school senator. Who in his heart wants to always work with the other side and find a compromise. When possible. A practice which has made him an enemy to some on the right. Actually, most of the right. But the senator didn't care. He was willing to take the hits from his own party because, in his heart, he was doing what he thought was right.

For example, he thought compromising on judges to avoid the nuclear option was the right thing to do in 2006. Then Harry Reid took control and went with the nuclear option. Because that's what Democrats do.

Lindsey Graham, in his heart, wants to negotiate in good faith. But he's realized his Democrat colleagues have gone so far to the left, compromise is now impossible. You can't negotiate in good faith with people who don't have any good faith. Now Lindsey Graham knows. Now Lindsey Graham is pissed.

And after seeing the sleazy way his Democrat colleagues have acted, he's had enough. Today, Graham is Americans nationwide. He is the voice of reason for us all.
