Lawyer explains why Blake Lively is the villain in her insane lawsuit against Justin Baldoni
Half-Asian lawyer Bill Richmond discussed the craziness in the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni drama after the promotion of their movie, It Ends With Us, and it’s worse than you think.

According to Fox News:
In December, Lively detailed allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation, intentional affliction of emotional distress, negligence and more against Baldoni and film producer Jamey Heath in a complaint first filed with the California Civil Rights department and later in federal court.
Baldoni, in his own lawsuit filed in January, insisted that Lively had "falsely" accused him in an attempt to repair her reputation following the fallout of the movie's press tour after the actress took control of the film. Baldoni's legal team claimed that Lively had no evidence of a deliberate smear campaign and had instead worked to repair her reputation by accusing the actor and others of sexual harassment.
Lively filed her amended complaint on Feb. 18, claiming that two female cast members were willing to testify to the "unwelcome behavior" Baldoni exhibited on set. However, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, slammed the new version of the lawsuit as "unsubstantial hearsay."
There were times when she was taking control of this movie, rewriting, doing all these things, and eventually did her own edit where she's just pushed Baldoni out entirely,” Richmond said. “But the craziest part about this is now coming back afterward and alleging sexual harassment and retaliation.”
Following her promotion of the movie, she experienced massive backlash over how she promoted it and that is what drove her to file a lawsuit.
“This is something we've seen time and time again with these lawsuits,” Crowder said. “She knew that the PR battle was just as big as the legal battle.”
According to Richmond, Baldoni filed a counter-claim, showing the receipts, including many text messages, to prove “the evidence that Lively was referring to was selectively edited to change the meaning of the communications to make Baldoni look bad.”
“If you've got to selectively edit the evidence in the beginning, it's generally not going to get better,” Richmond added.
This is not the first time she became disgruntled while filming.
"She has publicly admitted in multiple interviews before this movie that she does this. She'll go in, sandbag about what role she really wants behind the camera or in front of the camera, and then they'll do it. She said she did it on Gossip Girl," Richmond added. "She poisoned the cast against someone and then realized 'Oh I like this guy' and then undid it throughout the next couple seasons."
Lively claimed Baldoni went on a political smear campaign when she was actually the one guilty of this.
"She hasn't been thinking forward enough on the public backlash and that people would see through the allegations," Richmond added.
