Don't get it twisted. I'm not thrilled about Disney Star Wars as much as everyone else isn't. They even almost ruined "The Mandalorian" before there was even a script (see JON FAVREAU IS DIRECTING A STAR WARS TV SERIES, AND THE INTERNET ISN'T HAPPY and AN UNPOPULAR STAR WARS OPINION...). But the first season was a pleasant surprise, and anyone claiming to not love Baby Yoda is trying too hard to be contrarian. They just dropped a trailer for season two, and I'm ready for October 30 to be here.

This is where some people will chime in that they don't watch "Hollyweird" because of any number of political issues. Which if that's your feelings, you do you. I don't judge. I will say this, though. Co-star Gina Carano is growing increasingly based, and the same people who hate us hate her. Also, while I don't know where director/writer Jon Favreau is politically, he's best friends with Vince Vaughn, so at the very least he doesn't hate us like many colleagues in the entertainment industry do to people who have different opinions than them.

But most importantly ... it's just a really good story that really is like a modern-day western. It's an hour a week for like eight weeks or so where you can tune out from the world, be entertained, a remember what Star Wars used to be like as a kid. I highly recommend dropping it out.
