The left wants to regulate the words you say, the books you read, the thoughts you think. Now they've passed a law regulating how you sit. If you have a penis betwixt your legs, that is. Manspreading (the act of a man sitting with his legs open) has become a serious trigger to pseudo-PTSD-suffering feminists. Where "PTSD" can mean whatever you want it to mean. Consequently, Madrid, Spain has passed a law prohibiting people from manspreading on public transportation.

The move comes after months of campaigning by women in Madrid. The group Mujeres en Lucha led the protests, starting a petition called  #MadridSinManspreading (#MadridWithoutManspreading) earlier this year.

In April the CUP party look the issue to government level when they asked for a national campaign to be launched against the problem. They described the behaviour as a “exhibition of machismo and a micro-aggression that can make the person suffering it uncomfortable.”

At this stage it is unclear whether or not a fine will be levied at offenders.

The law is aimed toward a few douchebags who occupy too much space on crowded buses. Where "too much space" is to be determined by a feminist. Annoying, yes. Worthy of an entire legal measure? Overkill. Spending money on new signs for a few pinheads seems a little much. Also, what if Eduardo is the only man on a trolly car and he wants to give the ninos some air? I suppose just the thought of any man "spreading" anything, especially his legs,  is too triggering for most feminists. God almighty.

Sure, rude bus riders are annoying. But rudeness knows no gender. Methinks some ladies have annoyed plenty of male passengers, yeah? Think about it, ladies.

Also, is it too much to ask of feminists to aim some of their rage at actual offenses against women? I'm speaking here of crimes against the lady folk happening in Islam every day. Hijab-ed dames could use a few advocates fighting for their rights and freedom with the same kind of passion given to men with too much knee gap. Just ideas.
