Growing up watching "Saved By the Bell," I always assumed Zack would be the based one and that AC Slater would be woke by default due to being married to Jesse Spano. Instead, Zack grew up to become Governor of California, and Mario Lopez is sharing hilarious memes mocking woke leftists.

"Latinx" is what white liberals have started calling Hispanics. It's supposed to be gender-neutral so as not to "offend" Latinos and Latinas who may have chosen one of the eleventy-hundred other genders. Hispanics hate it and hate anyone who uses the word. Hence this hysterical meme, where they can laugh off everything else. But like with everything white liberals think, all that matters is what other white liberals think. After all, what is the [place marginalized class annoyed by white liberals here] going to do? Vote Republican?

It will be interesting to see if the meme is still up by the end of the day. This isn't the first time Lopez has entered based territory. In 2019, he caused a kerfuffle with a common-sense opinion about not giving puberty blockers to three-year-olds: "My God if you're three-years-old, I just think it's dangerous as a parent to make this determination then, it's sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on. [...] I think parents need to allow their kids to be kids, but at the same time, you got to be the adult in the situation."

He was forced into an apology later that day. Take a moment to ponder to yourself what direction THAT debate has taken three years later.

It looks like Lopez is going to stand behind this one. The meme has been up for two days.
