Watch: Mark Wahlberg attempts to "get his job back" at a grocery store in touching video
For a guy my fellow oldhead GenXers were first introduced to rapping in his underwear about good vibrations, it's remarkable to see what a down to Earth, family-minded, religious-minded man Mark Wahlberg has become. There aren't many who are also A-list movie stars. There's Mark Wahlberg, Chris Pratt, and...Mark Wahlberg.
Wahlberg went back to where it all started, a Stop & Shop in Boston, to try and get his old job bagging groceries back. It sends a message about staying humble, remembering where you came from, and the importance of work. It's also great content, and we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are all about doing it for the content.

The best part is he has the store manager's son holding his phone and filming things for him. Though he was sneaky attempting to upcharge a customer to double bag her groceries. I don't know about Massachusetts, but in New York that would cost me an extra nickel.
I recognize that even a down to Earth celebrity is still a celebrity. And anything done is done for a degree of PR purposes. But showing up with an iPhone to upload on your own social is still different than the usual "look how humble I am" segments where the famous person shows up with a camera crew and Michael Strahan to interview them.
Cheers to Wahlberg. He's also not afraid to share his religious beliefs, even though it's not popular in Hollywood when you are devout to one of the Jesus-based religions. It's probably a key reason why he wanted to get his family out of California.
And don't let anyone tell you otherwise. "Good Vibrations" by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch still slaps. If you need proof, you totally have the hook stuck in your head right now.
