Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio is proposing a measure that would prohibit the imposition of federal mask mandates for air travel, public transit, and educational institutions as democrats and “experts” try to desperately coerce the public into putting those face diapers back on.

The "Freedom to Breathe Act," which would apply through the end of 2024, would prohibit any federal official, including the President, from issuing mask mandates applying to domestic air travel, public transit, or primary, secondary, and post-secondary schools. The legislation would also prohibit air carriers, transit authorities, and educational institutions from refusing service to individuals who choose not to wear a mask.

“We tried mask mandates once in this country. They failed to control the spread of respiratory viruses, violated basic bodily freedom, and set our fellow citizens against one another,” Vance said. “This legislation will ensure that no federal bureaucracy, no commercial airline, and no public school can impose the misguided policies of the past. Democrats say they’re not going to bring back mask mandates – we’re going to hold them to their word.”

The measure would also prevent federal spending from being used to propose face mask requirements or force Americans to wear face coverings.

Masks don’t work and quite frankly they are disgusting. People have walked around with stained cloth coverings for several years now and constantly touch them with their dirty hands. Bacterial-infused mouths only make them a breeding ground for germs as viruses love to hold onto moist and humid environments. And we all know that person who used the same mask in their car for months every time they needed to run into the store.

And for several years Americans have seen the very people who implement restrictive mandates, only to be caught violating their own rules.

Just a day after First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID-19, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that President Joe Biden will wear a face mask while indoors near other people.

Not surprisingly, Biden did not hold up to his word as he was caught yesterday not wearing a mask while awarding the Medal of Honor to Captain Larry L. Taylor of the U.S. Army.

Well to be fair, he was seen wearing a face mask at the start of the event, but he removed it during the prayer and then proceeded to deliver remarks at the podium before placing the Medal of Honor around Taylor's neck.

The do-as-I-say, not-as-I-do Democrats want to force you to wear a mask as they reach new levels of hypocrisy and absurdity every day. Remember all the hilarious excuses elected officials gave when caught violating their own draconian rules?

“It was a setup,” Nancy Pelosi said as she was caught on video maskless at a San Francisco salon. “So I take responsibility for falling for a setup.”

Masks dehumanize people in the worst way. Facial expressions are a crucial part of communication and children who have trouble identifying emotion are more likely to have learning difficulties and problems with their peers.

The very same people who scream that society is ableist, promote masks in spite of the fact they impacted Deaf peoples’ understanding of what was said.

Democrats would love to bring back mask mandates. And unfortunately, this bill would probably never pass because Republicans never do anything effective. But you can at least be sure people are not going to acquiesce so quickly this time.
