People can be real maskholes over someone's decision not to wear a mask. Usually, their being an unhinged jackwagon is limited to meltdowns in public places (see CRAZY MASK NAZI IS CAUGHT ON VIDEO PEPPER-SPRAYING A COUPLE FOR NOT WEARING MASKS ... WHILE EATING and HERE'S A CRAZY MASK NAZI SCREAMING IN A LITTLE GIRL'S FACE: 'I HOPE YOU DIE'). That is something we can all laugh at. The joke is over when elected officials wants people not wearing masks brought up on ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES, as is the case with Nashville councilwoman Sharon Hurt.

COUNCILWOMAN CRAZY LADY: I work for an organization, that if they pass a virus, then they they are tried for murder, or attempted murder, if they are not told… and this person who may very well pass this virus that's out in the air because their not wearing a mask is basically doing the same thing to someone who contracts it and dies from it.

COMMITTEE CHAIR: Um...no?

COUNCILWOMAN CRAZY LADY: Well that sucks.

The organization she works for deals with people who have HIV. She compared people not wearing masks to people knowingly transmitting HIV to another person. Which in California at least, is only a misdemeanor. She wants you brought up on attempted murder over not wearing mask, which isn't even proven to prevent the spread of the virus. We do know for sure how you can give someone HIV. Masks, the only thing we know for sure is that it's a courtesy to make other people feel better and/or save yourself the hassle from wanting to go grocery shopping.

Sure, this is just one crazy Democrat's idea that she was just thinking out loud. A crazy Democrat once thought "defunding the police" was a good idea to think out loud too. One Democrat with an insane policy quickly becomes two, then four, then eight.

Attempted murder. Over not wearing a mask. This is where the left is now.
