Mattel Apologizes After Advertising Porn Website on Wicked Dolls... wait, what?
One might assume that if a large corporation is going to put a website on a doll, they would have at least one person check to make sure it’s the correct one. But for some reason, Mattel blew it big time and accidentally printed a porn website on its new Wicked dolls and nothing makes sense anymore.

According to the BBC:
Toy manufacturer Mattel has said it "deeply regrets" a misprint on packaging for dolls inspired by the new Wicked movie which listed the address for an adult website.
How does such a bad mistake happen? You would think that a company selling products for children would at least double-check to make sure any website is appropriate but the incompetence here is at Kamala levels.
The company recently released the singing dolls ahead of the long-awaited film starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
But eagle-eyed fans posted images on social media showing the packaging had a pornography website on it, instead of the movie's web address.
In a statement, Mattel apologized for the "unfortunate error" and advised parents that the misprinted website "is not appropriate for children".
This is a pretty bad mistake that one would hope the entire quality control staff was fired but it does not sound like anyone was held accountable for this “deeply regrettably” mistake.
This would be a lot easier to forgive except for the fact that this is not the first time a children’s product had an inappropriate website attached to it.
Lidl had to recall some Paw Patrol sweet treats after the same mistake happened last year.
According to RIN:
The supermarket giant is withdrawing Paw Patrol Mini Biscotti and Paw Patrol Yummy Bakes from its shelves following customer complaints. Reports by The Sun revealed that the questionable URL leads customers to a pornographic website.
Let’s just hope other children manufacturers learn from this and don’t issue websites on products with inappropriate sites.
