Mayra Flores, First GOPer Elon Musk Voted for, Gives GOP First South Texas House Seat Win In Over 150 Years
Editor's Note: Slight edit made to "won with less than 57%" because I had it worded like Biden won by a 57% margin
A buddy of mine who is smart about these things says Biden is such an unmitigated disaster, any district he won with less than 57% is in play this November. Exhibit Q is Mayra Flores. She just won a special election in South Texas in the second most Hispanic district in America, making her the first Mexican-born congressperson. Flores is also the latest example of the Red Supernova coming this November. (We hear at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are tired of aquatic disasters like "tsunami" and are henceforth going with red supernova).
Meet the congresswoman-elect:

And meet one of her biggest fans:
I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican.
Massive red wave in 2022.

Besides being the first Mexican-born congresswoman, she is also the first Republican to win that area of the Rio Grande in over 150 years. Flores flipped Cameron county, which is 85% Hispanic. For comparison, Biden won the district by 13%, and Hillary won it by 33%. It points to how badly Democrats are hemorrhaging support. This area of Texas has been ravaged thanks to Joe Biden's border crisis.
And while the woke, white, elitist progressives who control Joe Biden keep trying to make "latinx" a thing, it turns out Hispanic voters have the same concerns that [place nationality here] voters have: public safety, the economy, and being able to feed their families. Biden has failed them, and the rest of us, in all those areas. Hence the constant old-man meltdowns and blaming Americans for being ungrateful.
In fairness, this was a special election, which tend to have embarrassing voter turnout. Plus, the redrawn TX-34 will be more favored by Democrats in November. Though, it will be in November when the Democratic gubernatorial candidate is losing by nineteen points.
Special elections may not be the most accurate indicator of where we are, but they're a bellwether to see where we're headed. And we're headed for a red supernova in November.
