The Left has been looking to destroy fast-food jobs as far back as 2016. While a minimum wage hike kills jobs across the board, Democrats have been focused on killing fast-food jobs specifically. Conservatives have been warning people supporting the #FightFor15 were going get them replaced by robots. And as this viral video shows, McDonald's has started doing so.

An employee-free, fully automated McDonald's. Though I'm sure there might be a human or two there to call someone when the computers glitch.

The video is from last year but is getting another turn around the internet because, well, that's what viral videos do. This McDonald's restaurant is in the Fort Worth suburb of -- I SWEAR this is what it's named -- White Settlement, Texas.

Everything is automated. You don't have to talk to a single human. More importantly, McDonald's doesn't have to be forced by the government to pay anyone more than the market dictates. The closest thing you get to resembling contact with another lifeform is this robot bringing you your food. It is unclear if the robot is programmed with the attitude of a snot-nosed teenager or a middle-aged woman who has given up on life. You know, for authenticity.

What's fascinating is that while the writing was on the wall about the #FightFor15 eight years ago, and while this video was released in February 2023, in September of 2023 California passed a law increasing the minimum wage to $20-an-hour...ONLY FOR FAST FOOD WORKERS.

The "draconian" new law will cause enormous financial losses and cost each restaurant in the state $250,000 annually. Pizza Huts in California were forced to lay off a thousand workers because of it. Remember kids, the true minimum wage is ZERO dollars an hour.

Not to be outdone, in December of 2023, Bernie Sanders proposed a national minimum wage hike. The good news is that it isn't exclusive to people who work in fast food. The bad news is the CBO estimated his bill would kill SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND JOBS.

If you work a job where you could be replaced with a computer, you might want to stop supporting people who push policies that make it easier for people to replace you. Just sayin'.
