ISIS, an Islamic terror organization, has taken credit for the terror attack in Brussels. Once more with feeling, because this is important. ISIS is responsible for the terrorist attack in Brussels. Period, the end.

So of course there are people who are ignoring ISIS yelling and screaming as they take credit, and are instead blaming...Brussels?

All these facts point, nonetheless, to a deep and festering problem in Brussels, which goes beyond, the disturbing radicalisation of a fringe of Muslim youth in France or Britain or the Netherlands or Germany. Why Belgium? Why Brussels? Why Molenbeek?

There are the usual factors – unemployment, discrimination, split-identities – which explain the alienation of young Muslims in other European countries. In Belgium, they have been intensified by the country’s own divided identity as Dutch and French speakers have drifted further apart in the last two decades. Most Muslim youths in Britain or France do consider themselves British or French. What should a youth of Moroccan origin born in Brussels consider him or herself to be? A Fleming or a Walloon? Or a Bruxellois?

In other words, the infrastructure is to blame? The people of Brussels are to blame? Notice what's casually omitted from what could be responsible for the Islamic terrorist attacks? Subtle hint: FREAKING ISLAM!

At the same time, the division of the country in all but name has undermined the national or federal institutions – including the police, justice system and intelligence services. Belgian politicians now think largely in terms of their “regions” or language communities, rather than problems on a national scale. The different branches of the police and security services have infamously poor communications with one another. Hans Bonte, the mayor of Vilvoorde, a suburban town outside Brussels, once called Belgium’s security arrangements “a perfect example of organised chaos.”

How about no? In addition to turning a blind eye to the actual cause of this terrorist attack, primarily but not limited to the belief that non-believers (infidels) of Islam must die, Brussels also has this little problem with their police force. I would ask, "What could go wrong when you combine willful ignorance of the dangers of Islam with a crappy law enforcement system," but sadly that question was answered this morning.

It's like everything we say, do and write here at LouderwithCrowder falls on deaf ears. Except I don't think that's what it is. Our message that Islam is the problem isn't being ignored, it's being shut out.

Leftists don't want to hear that Islam, a religion and political system they seem to respect, wants to see infidels expunged from the world, dispatched in the most heinous ways possible. Burning alive in cages. Decapitation (sometimes slowly). Dismemberment via bombs. Mass shooting at a Christmas party.

ISIS attacks us because we believe in freedom. They attack us for our culture and way of life. Before you start lecturing me about "moderate Islam" and "Not all Muslims are terrorists," make sure that, before you queue up the talking points, you don't. I've heard it all before. Islam is a crappy religion. Are all Muslims terrorists? No, but Muhammad was.

Also, no there is no "moderate Islam." Saying it over and over won't make Islam "moderate." It'll just make you sound like a broken record. And an idiot.
