Media Matters President Who Attacked Tucker Carlson Has History of Nasty Comments
Media Matters has set its astroturfing to kill with the organization's vendetta against Tucker Carlson. All over what are said to be offensive comments from over ten years ago (see WATCH: Tucker Carlson TORCHES Media Matters, CNN's Brian Stelter and Tucker Carlson Made Shocking Comments on a Show Designed to be Shocking. 10 Years Later, People are “Shocked”!). Also publically making offensive comments over ten years ago? Media Matters President Angelo Carusone. Thank you, sweet baby Jesus.
It would appear Media Matters President Carusone was a bit of a transphobic douche nozzle, as recently unearthed by the fine folks at The Daily Caller:
Carusone posted a lengthy diatribe in November 2005 about a Bangladeshi man who was robbed by “a gang of transvestites,” as Carusone described it. Carusone was offended that the gang was described as “attractive” in an article.
Remember, in 2019, just the very act of being transgender automatically confers the status of "stunning and brave." How dare Carusone say trannies are anything other than the definition of feminine allure. In fact the current rules are you're transphobic if you don't even want to court a fine, stunning, super feminine transwoman.
Carusone also chided police for not advising the public to “stay away from tranny bars, stay away from places [sic] where Eddie Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. have/are visiting, don’t fucking kiss a transvestite, don’t bring a group of transvestites back to your room, etc…”
TRANSPHOBIC!
In another post that same month, Carusone downplayed a male basketball coach’s alleged sexual and physical abuse of his female players, adding, “lighten up Japs,” using what is considered an ethnic slur.
To make things clear, we don't think anyone should be fired over comments made in years past. However, before you send your "non-profit" after someone to try and destroy their livelihood, maybe run some opposition research on yourself. To make sure you weren't guilty of doing the same AT THE EXACT SAME TIME YOU'RE ATTACKING TUCKER CARLSON. Because going by the rules, now Media Matter's lead twit needs to resign and never work again. Still want to play by them?
Seriously, dude. They say the internet is forever for a reason.
