There are a number of changes coming to the Baxter household when Last Man Standing makes its debut on Fox (see ‘Last Man Standing’ Announces New Cast Member, It’s Not Who You Think and Tim Allen on “Last Man Standing” Return: I Identify as an Asian Woman…). Most noticeable among them are different people playing the roles of Mandy and Boyd.

We have our new actors!

After a lengthy search, the upcoming revival of Last Man Standing has found actors to play two key roles that have been recast. Molly McCook (Good Trouble) will play the middle daughter Mandy, and Jet Jurgensmeyer (Will & Grace) will play the grandson Boyd, respectively, of Tim Allen’s Mike Baxter in the upcoming series on Fox.

The duo replaced original cast members Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison, who played Mandy and Boyd during the series’ run on ABC. They have opted not to return for Season 7.

So we have our new Baxters. We have our old Baxters. Now we need the show to premiere with one main goal: make us laugh. That's really the point of a sitcom anyway. Here's hoping they stick to it!
