On the tail of the International Federation of Swimming (FINA) laying out new regulations regarding transgender athletes competing in swimming events, Megan Rapinoe, in an attempt to remain relevant, sat down for an interview with TIME magazine to give her useless and predictable opinions on the matter of transgender athletes in women's sports.

To sum it up, she's all for it. In her interview with TIME, Rapinoe said, "I'm 100% supportive of trans inclusion." She dismissed concerns about elite competitive sports, saying, "At the highest level, there is regulation. In collegiate sports, there is regulation. And at the Olympic and professional level. It’s not like it’s a free-for-all where everyone’s just doing whatever."

Well, that's not exactly true. Lia Thomas steamrolled over the ladies in collegiate swimming events--which is probably what spurred FINA to act on the matter. And in cycling, weightlifting, and martial arts, men have dominated the field after realizing that they "identify" as women. So, yeah, Rapinoe is an ignorant tool. She does seem pretty confident in her ignorance, though. Later in the interview, she asks people to show her the evidence that trans women are taking everyone's scholarships and titles...

She appealed to emotions, citing transgender suicide, linking the tragedies to bullying and exclusion from areas of society, including sports.

"We’re talking about people’s lives. [...] They are committing suicide, because they are being told that they’re gross and different and evil and sinful and they can’t play sports with their friends that they grew up with. [...] I think it’s monstrous."

But what about those young athletes who are having opportunities stolen from them, maybe those in high school? Rapinoe says they can suck it up. They aren't important. We have transgender lives to worry about! "I’m sorry, your kid’s high school volleyball team just isn’t that important. It’s not more important than any one kid’s life."

The fact is, the aging Rapinoe--who will turn 37 next month--couldn't care less about the integrity of women's sports here soon. She's not going to be playing soccer by the time her team's opponents begin recruiting men to play against them. She'll be retired, living large on all the woke money she's raked in with her bullsh*t pandering.

But men cannot become women regardless of when they choose to transition. And those men shouldn't compete against women. And Rapinoe can shut her giant cakehole about it.
