During an interview the other day, Bill Gates awkwardly deflected away from probing questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. His stellar defense was "I just had dinner with him." Because "just having dinner" with a serial pedophile is perfectly fine. Just imagine if it had been brunch.

Host Sarah Ferguson brought up Bill Gates' ex-wife Melinda twice in the conversation, mentioning how Gates' meetings with Epstein went against Melinda's wishes, and asking if Melinda was warning him about possible sexual exploitation. Gates of course denied the latter since they just ate dinner together and nothing more.

However, a clip of Melinda Gates resurfaced today and shed doubt on Gates' claims. Appearing on CBS, Melinda said she met Epstein “exactly one time because I wanted to see who this man was. I regretted it from the second I stepped in the door." She said Epstein was "abhorrent" and explained, "He was evil personified. I had nightmares about it afterward. So my heart breaks for these young women.”

She also acknowledged Bill's relationship with Epstein was a factor in their divorce, and she had made it very clear she was not happy with his decision to continue meeting with Epstein: "As I said, it's not one thing, it was many things [that led to the divorce], but I did not like that he'd meetings with Jeffrey Epstein, no [...] I made that clear to him."

As the reporting continued to probe, Melinda stated, "any of the questions remaining about what Bill's relationship there was - those are for Bill to answer. But I made it very clear how I felt about him."

I don't know about you, but to me, this sounds like there were more than a few dinners with Jeffrey Epstein, and dinner may not have been the only thing they did together. All I'm saying is, I wouldn't be surprised if Melinda soon went "missing" from the public eye...
