An undercover Mug Club journalist went to Meta to find out what’s going on with H-1B Visas and how Big Tech abuses them. Today’s show breaks it down.

"The technical lead at Meta told our undercover journalist that the H-1B system is a scam and intentionally favors foreign applicants over hard-working, educated, skilled American workers," Crowder said.

According to the Labor Department:

The H-1B program applies to employers seeking to hire nonimmigrant aliens as workers in specialty occupations or as fashion models of distinguished merit and ability. A specialty occupation is one that requires the application of a body of highly specialized knowledge and the attainment of at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. The intent of the H-1B provisions is to help employers who cannot otherwise obtain needed business skills and abilities from the U.S. workforce by authorizing the temporary employment of qualified individuals who are not otherwise authorized to work in the United States.

According to Ben Tesser, "These companies are only allowed to hire people after they have tried to hire US people and have been unsuccessful.”

Tesser added that companies are required to post the job to American citizens and are only allowed to use the visa if they cannot find any American to fill the role.

"What they do is they interview a bunch of Americans so they can pay less for the guy overseas," Tesser said.

He also claimed that when it comes to “equal footing,” they will always hire the foreign applicant because it's cheaper and that these immigrants are prioritized over Americans, since it gives the “employer more control” and the worker will work harder because they are beholden to the visa to remain in the country.

Tesser also confirmed there is a “special list” for Conservatives like Steven Crowder. Although Mark Zuckerberg has claimed he believes it’s wrong to censor Americans, Tesser confirmed he is fine with keeping his job because "in no other position in [his] life will [he] have as much power to influence discourse and fairness of communication."

"You, the American worker, subsidize all of this," Crowder said.

According to the left, we need migrants for “unskilled” labor, and we also need them for “skilled” labor. So, it’s unclear what they believe we need the American worker for.

"According to the elites in power, what do we need the American worker for?" Crowder said.
