Alexander Hamilton once said, “Those who stand for nothing fall for everything.” Well, Mexico's Presidente just bent the knee and fell right into a trap set by the woke mob that knows no borders.

Yes, even wokeness is immune to immigration laws.

According to Yahoo:

“Mexico’s president has apologized to a trans politician from his party after referring to her as a “man dressed as a woman”.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador, 70, was pictured greeting Salma Luévano with a kiss on the cheek when the pair met over the weekend at a public event.

When later questioned by reporters over why he did so, the Mexican leader answered: ‘I also kiss men.’

Airy cheek-kisses between men and women are common as a casual greeting in Mexican culture, but less so for formal, professional encounters.

Mr López Obrador then referred to the 55-year-old, one of the first trans people to become a federal lawmaker, as a “man dressed as a woman’.

Allies and members of the country’s LGBT community have demanded a public apology from the president for misgendering Ms Luévano, who belongs to his left-wing Morena party.

‘I want to... offer an apology to a colleague who identifies as a woman,’ said Mr López Obrador in response.
‘If I gave my opinion on this issue it is because I consider that love has no sex, it is above everything. It’s like freedom,’ he added.”

I believe this is the kiss in question.

It is no surprise that Mexico does not have the best reputation when it comes to freedom. Although, they don’t have the worst either. But I guess some of the problems can at least be summed up by the fact that Obrador thinks "sex is like freedom". Although, if it is freedom in the Mexican kind of way, I will stay on this side of the border.

Is this why we have so many illegals jumping over to the USA? Is it because sex is “like freedom?” Who knows. All I know is that you are not supposed to drink the water in Mexico because you will get sick. That water is not what you would call “seguro” in Spanish. Maybe lawmakers should be fixing the “agua” first before they start condoning sex changes and whatever crap this all is.

“Ms Luévano acknowledged the apology, calling it ‘very important’ and added: ‘This statement is very important, because it makes visible a fight that has taken us decades. I am a woman... and that is not up for discussion.’”

If your entire self-worth is based on people “affirming” your identity, that probably means you are lying to yourself, which he is. Because he is a man. A very narcissistic man at that.

There was no “fight” that occurred for decades. At least none that I am aware of. Before like five minutes, the entire world knew the distinct sexes. But sure, whatever lets Luévano sleep at night.

That said, everyone knows Spanish is a gendered language. So even if what he claims is true, what exactly does he have to say about that? Because I am assuming it is no mucho.
