It’s one thing to be having a hard time with the election results, but it’s a whole nother thing when people start sterilizing themselves based on lies.

Michigan State Rep. Laurie Pohutsky announced that she sterilized herself, as she fears Trump will criminalize abortion, even though that could not be further from the truth.

According to Michigan Advance:

Michigan state Rep. Laurie Pohutsky (D-Livonia) said Wednesday that she underwent surgery earlier this year to become voluntarily sterile out of fear for the future of reproductive health care access with President Donald Trump back in office.

“Just under two weeks ago, I underwent surgery to ensure that I would never have to navigate a pregnancy in Donald Trump’s America,” Pohutsky said. “I refuse to let my body be treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in my ability to procreate.

What is so astonishing is the lengths these people would go to prove a lack of a point, especially when it’s based on lies.

How many times does Trump have to announce that he believes abortion should be up to the states? And the fact that she lives in Michigan proves how delusional she is, as this is considered a protected “right” under their state constitution.

And LOL. Even if Trump wanted to federally criminalize abortion, which he does not, how is that “treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in [her] ability to procreate?” That does not make the slightest bit of sense and we can almost be certain not one single person in the White House views her former "ability to procreate" as "currency."

If this does not scream narcissistic delusion, nothing does.

“If you know people who are questioning how serious this is, I’m going to repeat myself: A sitting government official opted for voluntary sterilization because she was uncertain she would be able to access contraception in the future.”

This does not prove anything remotely close to “how serious this is” because she bases her premise on lies. Her access to contraception is not under threat and will never be under threat but sure, let her pathetically attempt to prove her point that does not even exist.

The fact that people in Michigan voted for someone this insane proves how bad the mental health crises are, as she’s a literal lunatic. However, this is exactly what happens when the patients start running the asylum and this behavior is unsurprising to anyone paying attention.
