It’s unclear who approved Episcopal Bishop Mariann Budde to attack Trump with lies on his second day of office, but it might have been the same people who approved $53 million of taxpayer funds from several government programs to go to her organization. And to make matters worse, those funds were reportedly used to resettle 3,600 migrants.

The Episcopal Bishop who criticized President Donald Trump during an inaugural prayer service has come under fire after it was revealed that the church's federal contracting arm, Episcopal Migration Ministry (EMM), received $53 million of taxpayer funds in 2023 for its migrant resettlement program. The Trump administration has temporarily paused these programs for evaluation.

According to records, EMM received $53 million of taxpayer funds from various government programs to resettle 3,600 individuals in 2023, the New York Post reported. Budget figures for 2024 are not yet available; however, the EMM sponsored 6,400 individuals in 2024 from across 48 countries, including Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Vietnam, and others.

Since EMM has limited lobbying power, the Episcopal Church—a separate legal entity—advocates for additional programs that benefit EMM in Washington, DC, the outlet said. A 2012 Government Accountability Office report states that "funding is based on the number of refugees they serve, so affiliates have an incentive to maintain or increase the number of refugees they resettle each year rather than allowing the number to decrease."

So now it makes sense as to why she pathetically begged Trump to have “mercy” on “the people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings” and those that “may not be citizens or have the proper documentation.”

The Episcopal Migration Ministry received over $53 million to contribute to the open border crises, and it’s morally corrupt that she paints herself as if she is the one acting in a Christ-like manner.

So, while the left pretends that they are the compassionate ones for defending open borders, that could not be further from the truth. These policies hurt Americans, and the destruction it causes is unfathomable. So, while she profits off policies that contributed to the murder of Laken Riley, she tries to paint herself as the savior of the world while advocating for some of the most satanic causes. The Bible warns of people like her for a reason and it could not be more evident where she stands.
