Today is the inauguration of Donald Trump. It would have been nice to let Joe Biden ride off into the retirement home his caregiver, Dr. Jill, dumps him in. And perhaps we still can, but EVERYONE around him needs to be investigated. It is one thing for us to assume Joe Biden is being puppeted around and doesn't know what he's signing. It's another thing to have that CONFIRMED by Mike Johnson, the f*cking SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE.

To set the stage, the press has been handwringing about all the ways Joe Biden's "condition" was "kept hidden." Yes, I am using finger quotes. At the center is a blog post by the New York Times, one that was called "an embarrassment." Nate Silver has a perfect summarization.

For example, in the last 72 hours alone, Biden claimed that "red states" had the worst economies. Even if you want to cherry-pick data points, the number of Americans who moved from blue states to Texas, Nevada, and Florida debunks that claim. But, no doubt, that was what he was told to say because that is the popular progressive talking point.

The president then created a constitutional amendment out of thin air, "deeming" that the 28th Amendment (the "Equal Rights Amendment") passed via a tweet. I know it doesn't work like that. You know it doesn't work like that. None of us are sure Biden knows "he" did this.

That brings us to Mike Johnson. He is not an anonymous source speaking on background under the condition of anonymity. He is the actual Speaker of the House. In an interview with the Free Press, he discussed the struggle of having a private, one-on-one meeting with the president. When he got what he thought was supposed to be the meeting, he was "ambushed" by the Vice President, Chuck Schumer, the CIA, and a bunch of ideas.

When he pressed Biden for a one-on-one meeting, the president told everyone to leave, and they looked panicked. That's when Johnson asked Biden about his executive order banning natural gas. And executive order that Biden claims he didn't sign.

It occurred to me Bari, he was not lying to me. He genuinely did not know what he had signed. And I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, “We’re in serious trouble. Who is running the country?” Like, I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know.

We've been focusing on Joe Biden's being checked out ever since he was forced out of the presidential race. However, Mike Johnson is talking about something before that. What staff and what "groups" were putting things in front of Biden to sign? Who let them in? Who schemed to hide just how bad the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATE'S cognitive decline was? Exactly how much of what Joe Biden did does Joe Biden does not know that he did.

They investigated Donald Trump because someone allegedly overheard a phone call. Joe Biden wouldn't remember the phone call. And it's not an anonymous whistleblower making the claim. It's the SITTING SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE.

Congress needs to investigate who has been running the country for the past four years. Enjoy the parties today, and start the investigations tomorrow.
