Nancy Pelosi is ... my least favorite elected official. That's about as saucy as I can get while still appeasing our Big Tech overlords. We might get away with calling her Pooplosi, but it's already been done. But she's bad and I don't like her. Our esteemed speaker of the House is learning this week about the "boy who cried wolf." In October, she launched the 25th Amendment Commission. If the President loses his mental facilities, there is a procedure in place where the Vice President and the Cabinet can remove him from office. Some viewed this as a political attack less than a month before the election.

The more cynical among us implied she was paving the way for Kamala Harris, whose running mate was believed by some to have already lost his mental facilities.

Now, after the Capitol riot, Pelosi wants to use the 25th against Donald Trump. She told Mike Pence that if he didn't, she would be forced to bring up new articles on impeachment. Pence declined her offer ... by quoting Nancy Pelosi.

Just a few months ago, when you introduced legislation to create a 25th Amendment Commission, you said, a President's fitness for office must be determined by science and facts. You said that we must be very respectful of not making a judgment on the basis of a comment or behavior that we don't like, but based on a medical decision.

Madam Speaker, you were right.

Some criticize Democrats as regularly overplaying their hand. Their attacks on all things Trump were so over the top, even people on the right who didn't care for the cut of Trump's jib ignored them. Now that there is what many view as a more serious issue, Democrats have nothing behind their punch. Nancy Pelosi is the boy who cried impeachment one too many times.

This is what happens when you treat every political disagreement like the sky is falling. When the sky actually falls, no one listens to you. Yes, I realize I'm mixing children's metaphors.
