The revelation that Mike Pence doesn't have dinner alone with a woman who is not his wife caused quite a bit of liberal outrage this week. Leftists handled the story as rationally as you would expect, using words like "illegal" and "rape culture."

... is normal.

Mind you, the same leftists mocking the Vice President also think Bill Clinton's use of interns as live humidors is no big deal (see South Park Gives Voice to Bill Clinton: “My Wife is a Crazy…” and Yet Another Bill Clinton Mistress, Dubbed ‘Energizer Bunny’), so keep that in mind.

Anywho, the Vice President was in Ohio for an event. Conspicuous by her absence? His wife, Karen...

“She’s really sorry she couldn’t be with us today. She already had dinner plans.”

Sure, the VP could work on his timing and delivery, but it was a decent crack for a guy who looks like a greying G.I. Joe. Also, notice how he didn't rush off to Twitter in an outrage to "blast" anyone attacking him? Pence handled something this stupid the way it deserves to be handled, with a shoulder shrug and a joke. Nothing more. The reason? Well this is entirely speculation on my part, but I believe a big part of it is that he is, what we refer to as a "grown ass man".
