The city of Boston unveiled a new monument to Rev. Martin Luther the King over the weekend. It was supposed to be a tribute to King embracing his wife Coretta Scott King. What we got instead depends on what angle you look at it. Some say it looks like a giant penis. Others say a giant turd. And from one angle, it looks like someone generously chowing down on the funparts of their significant other.

Among the haters who don't understand fine art is Seneca Scott, Coretta Scott King's cousin. The Oakland civil right activist tells the New York Post he is less than amused with TEN MILLION DOLLAR tribute to his family. And that anyone in the mainstream media who claims it's "beautiful" is only saying so because they are ordered to.

But then when it came out, a little boy pointed out — "That’s a penis!" and everyone was like, "Yo, that’s a big old dong, man."

If you had showed that statute to anyone in the ’hood, they’d have been like, "No, absolutely not."

Scott shared his feelings in further detail with an OpEd for Compact.

Ten million dollars were wasted to create a masturbatory metal homage to my legendary family members [...] he Boston debacle could be a blessing in disguise, by exposing the insidiousness of astroturfed woke movements that have come to dominate black America: How could anyone fail to see that this was a major dick move (pun intended) that brings very few, if any, tangible benefits to struggling black families?

My guess? The woke white liberals who greenlit the statue and the bag of ten million dollars weren't thinking about that.

If nothing else, we have the internet to do internet things about this misguided tribute.

On behalf of all of us here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website, have a very happy Martin Luther the King Day! He had a dream that one day people of all races and creeds would come together. And we have! All of us -- black, white, and in between -- are united in our mockery of this TEN MILLION DOLLAR tribute that looks like a giant penis turd. Together, we are laughing as one people.

In that regard, maybe this monument is a tribute to King's dream fulfilled.
