We say a lot that "moderate Muslims" need to do more in speaking out against extremists. After all that's happened in Europe lately (see BREAKING: Yes, Paris Terrorist Attacks Look to be Islamic. Now Developing… and Angela Merkel: ‘Germany is Ravaged by Terrorism… But We Want More Refugees!’), Tam Kahn, an MMA fighter and trainer, took to Facebook to do just that.

And WOW, did he do just that...

In an epic rant he wrote: "I feel more Muslims need to start cleaning up our society.

"We are lucky to be able to have so many mosques in England, able to have free speech but don't take the p***.

"If you don't like what you see it's simple, LEAVE!"

He went on: "We need to clean our society up and start being more active in mosques and Muslim 'areas'.

"Educate them, flag the authorities if you see individuals act strange or become illusive, any dodgy behaviour go flag these people.

"The end of the day it's your country also so you need to protect is just as much."

If we're going to say that more moderate Muslims need to speak up, we should salute the one's who do. Because this is exactly what's needed in the Muslim community: leaders speaking out, speaking up, against violent extremists in their ranks. Islam needs a reformation. Badly. Now. And Kahn here is making a move. A first move, sure, but still a move. We'll take it.

That doesn't mean just speaking out will do the trick. Calling attention to the problems in Islam is simply step one. Addressing the problems, correcting them, that's another step altogether. Also, Kahn looks like he could rip our arms off and beat us with them. I think it's probably safe to say, if you're going to speak out against ISIS or any other crap weasel getting their terrorist on, best to be as large, strong, and scary as Kahn here.
