Studio Defends ‘Mommy And Me’ Pole Dancing, Claims It's Okay Because Kids Don't Understand What Strippers Are
The left won’t admit it, but there is most definitely an attack on childhood innocence.
A dance studio in Atlanta spearheaded “Mommy and Me” pole dancing classes. Yes, the same poles that they use at strip clubs. And the owner of this studio claims that as long as you tell the kids it's “fitness,” there is no problem whatsoever because they won’t know that what they are doing is inappropriate, to say the very least.
The infuriating part about that justification is that she essentially claims that as long as she lies to the children, then it is okay because they will stay ignorant of the situation.
That is about as logically equivalent as teaching your kid that stealing is okay, as long as you tell them it's not stealing.
According to The Daily Caller:
“An Atlanta dance studio defended its “Mommy and Me” pole dancing lessons after being accused of “hypersexualizing” children.
Pink Pole Studios owner Tiajuanna “Tia” Harris pushed back against critics stating that the pole dancing program is inappropriate for kids in an interview with Fox 26 Houston.
‘Who would think that that’s the pathway to a strip club? That’s not how we’re looking at it,’ Harris told the outlet. ‘Our kids that we’re introducing to it may or may not even know about what someone would do with a pole in a strip club. We’re introducing it as fitness, and that’s what our kids are trained to know. That’s what they’re trained to do.’
Pink Pole Studios announced a new ‘pole fitness’ class beginning in February through an Instagram post on Jan. 7. The announcement said that the pole dancing class would ‘break stigmas and set the bar’ by teaching minors how to do ‘tricks’ and ‘spins.’”
The owner of the studio claimed this would "break the stigma". What is she even talking about? The stigma against children dancing on stripper polls? What is wrong with this woman? That is one of the many stigmas that should never be broken. It is technically not a stigma because children dancing on poles is not a thing and should be condemned to no end. And that is an objectively true statement.
What is wrong with these people? When I was that age, all I wanted to do was watch cartoons and play outside in my tree house. There was never a movement to get children on poles. This is so incredibly abhorrent and revolting, to say the very least.
This is similar to the justification we hear about Drag Queen story time. Taking something that was always meant for degenerate adult entertainment, and just claiming that it is okay because you have taken the explicit part out is asinine, at best.
And the worst part about all of this is that the studio posted videos of the class on social media. This is all so deranged and should not be condoned by anyone.
My goodness, haven't these people heard of ballet?
If your goal as a parent is to make sure your daughter becomes a productive member of society and out of the business of objectifying herself, this is definitely not the path forward.
