EDITOR'S NOTE: On this day in 2018...

Despite the advancements of feminism, media still values women and children more than it values men. For proof, look no further than media's insistence we help the refugees based on the false narrative the migrant caravan is full of women and children. Except even this MSNBC reporter has to fess up to the truth: the migrant caravan is mostly men.

Not only is the migrant caravan made up of mostly men, those men aren't seeking asylum. They're seeking jobs.

Fleeing war, famine, disease is one thing. If the zombie apocalypse struck my home state, I'd probably load up my car with guns, ammo and my dogs and do whatever I could to get the hell out. Up to and including chucking a few rocks at the Canadians too polite to throw anything back in my quest for safety from the brain-eating fiends.

But these migrants aren't fleeing World War-Z. They just want more money for their time. Which, sure, I can sympathize. Except when I want more money for my time, I don't prove my worth with violent hostility. Nor do you. If you want a better job, you don't go to a new company and throw bricks through their windows. At least I don't think you do.

There's a right way and a wrong way to attain a better life. The right way is following basic legal protocols. The wrong way is storming the citadel with rage, violence, and petulant entitlement.
