Among the left's biggest gripes against our tangerine-hued commander-in-chief is him sending illegals back to their legal countries of residence. "You know, how dare that Trump enforce pre-existing immigration laws. He's literally Hitler. Literally!"

Now, lefties are dialing those Third Reich claims up to a new level, claiming the Donald is putting illegal kiddos in concentration camps:

During an overwrought panel discussion on Friday’s MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle, former Barack Obama campaign staffer Stephanie Cutter and political analyst Michael Steele took turns comparing illegal immigrant detention centers along the U.S. southern border to Nazi death camps.

“We can’t find a solution to this problem without harming children? Without putting them into concentration camps?,” Cutter pleaded. Steele doubled down on the extreme rhetoric: “I call this a concentration camp for kids because that’s exactly what it’s turning out to [be]. When you give kids 22 hours of lockup time and two hours of air time, what else can it be?”

He then went even further, offering viewers this ominous warning: “And if this is where this country is going, the American people need to wake up and pay attention. Because your kids could be next.”

That's right kiddos, the Orange Man is coming to drag you off to a repurposed Wal-Mart. For no discernible reason whatsoever. Better run while you still can.

The left complains about ICE putting the kiddos and their parents in separate holding facilities. Though, methinks they might take even greater offense at the sight of kids in jail cells with their parents. Clad in stripes. Staging mock sword fights with dad's trusty toothbrush shiv.

Lefties think the concentration camp comparisons and made-up threats of despotism are going to make Americans derail the Trump train. Except we're well past falling for their lies. Those lefties are going to have to try a lot harder than that.
