The MTV awards are now SJW awards. Think I'm kidding? I can understand your confusion. MTV is officially freeing itself from the shackles of gendered award categories as well as implementing a new kind of award. The new trophy will be for fighting back against Trump's America. Or something equally inane. Only the ultimate liberal gender queer song will be crowned the supreme snowflake.

I wish I were making this up.

MTV has rid itself of gender-specific categories as the network revealed nominees Tuesday for this year's Video Music Awards.

In the age of President Donald Trump and the fierce backlash he has generated among cultural leaders, MTV also announced a new category of "Best Fight Against the System" to recognize activist music. [The] award [intends] to celebrate videos that "inspire viewers to stand up and fight injustice."

That's adorable. Where was MTV and its liberal adherents when the Obama Administration was racking up all the injustice points? Like spying on Americans? Purely rhetorical questions.

The nominees include John Legend's "Surefire," whose video dramatizes anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment in the United States, and the celebratory "Immigrants: We Get the Job Done" from the blockbuster musical "Hamilton."

The network said in a statement that it was out to "break barriers" and had a positive response when it eliminated gender groups at this year's MTV Movie and TV Awards.

Also, I'm sure certain non-binary parties may be disappointed they're no longer eligible for both awards (see Equality? 'Gender Fluid' Actor Eligible for Male AND Female Academy Awards). By doing this, MTV has effectively stripped them of their genderless privilege. So much for caring about LGBTers.

Let this clear up any doubts as to whether or not the left possess shame. Nope. Their shame shelves are empty. As if cluster-brained rioters looted their shame stock.

These award shows are but venues for self-congratulatory posterior smooching. A celebration for being morally superior, leftist wimps (read 'PROGRESS:' Pompous Emma Watson Accepts First-Ever 'Genderless' Acting Award). Those performers who fail to conform to their liberal standards shall be silenced accordingly.

All the while, these snot goblins fancy themselves as "fighting against fascism." The delicious irony plagues me with gout.
